Getting There & Entry

There are regular direct flights from the UK to Sharm el Sheikh and Hurghada (typical flight time around 5 to 5½ hours from the UK, routes operated by us and others in season).

Visas (UK passports): most travellers need a visa. For Sharm  /  Dahab  /  Nuweiba  /  Taba, stays up to 15 days within the resort areas get a free entry permission stamp. Otherwise, get a visa on arrival (£18 to £19) or apply in advance via Egypt’s official e-Visa portal. Always check the latest UK FCDO advice before booking.
