Getting there and transfers

Fly to Preveza/Action (PVK). It is the island’s gateway, reached seasonally from Gatwick, Stansted, Manchester, Birmingham, Bristol and Edinburgh. Typical flight times are around 3h30-4h. PVK to Lefkada Town is roughly 13.7 miles; taxis or private transfers take 20-30 minutes. A KTEL airport bus also runs to Lefkada Town several times daily in season.

Beach time from a mountain base

From Lefkada Town to Kathisma Beach is about 10 miles by road. There’s a direct bus from town to the beach in season, about 30 minutes. Sunbed sets vary by row and venue; expect anything from sensible prices to premium rows. Free public sections remain.
