All Inclusive-Style Holidays at Ouratlantico Apartments – Oura Beach convenience, self-catering freedom – Discovering Ouratlantico (Albufeira, Algarve)
Just a quick dander from Albufeira’s famed ‘Strip’ and just 5 to 6 minutes walk from Blue-Flag Praia da Oura. The Ouratlantico Apartments is a good self-catering complex with indoor / outdoor pools, tennis, sauna and a handy pool bar. Its ideal if you want apartment space and resort-style facilities near the beach. There are no classic all inclusive board options here (the hotel runs on a self-catering basis with an optional paid breakfast buffet in season). This is a great candidate for an all inclusive style holiday built around a flight-and-transfer package plus smart meal planning.Location & vibe
You’re in the Oura neighbourhood: calm by day, lively by night, with cafes, beach bars and watersports down on the sand and restaurants and music bars along Avenida Sa Carneiro (the Strip). Oura Beach is roughly 500 to 600 m away; Old Town Albufeira is a short taxi or tourist-train ride. The apartments & facilities
Studios and one- or two-bedroom apartments come with kitchenettes (fridge, microwave, oven), living areas and balconies or terraces-so you can prep breakfasts or kids snacks easily. On site you’ll find two outdoor pools (plus a kids pool), an indoor heated pool with jacuzzi, sauna, tennis and table tennis, a snack / pool bar, mini-market and 24-hour reception. Is it all inclusive?
No – Ouratlantico is not an all inclusive hotel. Board is self-catering. An optional breakfast buffet usually runs April to mid-October. Drinks and snacks are available at the pool bar on a pay-as-you-go basis. All inclusive Style (how to make it feel ‘all inclusive’ here)
If you like the idea of having an everything handled feeling, use Cheap All Inclusive Holidays to package the essentials and pre-plan a few trips, activities and pre paid days:- ✔️ Bundle the basics: flights + private transfers + apartment. (Ask for a unit near the quieter garden / pool side if you prefer early nights).
- ✔️ Add breakfast (Apr to mid-Oct) to keep mornings simple; do relaxed lunches at the pool bar or beach kiosks; save dinners for local tavernas.
- ✔️ Prepay a couple of days out: boat trip from Albufeira marina or a Zoomarine / Aquashow day-so your biggest activities are already sorted.
- ✔️ Use the kitchen smartly: stock fruit, yoghurts and snacks; dine out for mains (Algarve dishes often run around €10 to 15 for a generous plate).
This gives you the freedom of an apartment with much of the ‘no-thinking’ ease people love about all inclusive.Beach, dining & evenings
Praia da Oura has soft sand, gentle entry and watersports; grab a lounger for lazy days or take a sunset stroll to beach bars. For dinner, the Strip and nearby lanes offer grills, seafood and Portuguese petiscos; Old Town’s waterfront is lovely for a change of scene.Who it suits
Good to know
Getting there
Fly into Faro (FAO); transfer time to Oura / Albufeira is about 35 to 40 minutes by the included transfer. From the complex, the beach and Strip are walkable; tourist trains, buses and taxis connect you to Old Town and the marina.Bottom line
If you want apartment flexibility with resort-style pools and spa bits a few minutes from a Blue-Flag beach, Ouratlantico is spot on. There is no classic all inclusive plan, but by packaging flights and transfers, adding seasonal breakfast and pre-booking a couple of days out, you will still get that ‘all inclusive style’ smoothness-with the bonus of eating where you like, when you like.
