Villa Flor is a four-bedroom self-catering villa in the Algarve about 7 km to the north of Albufeira. It is tucked in the heart of central Algarve. Accommodation is available for up to eight guests, whereas the premises do have a private pool area and landscaped gardening. So you can drive 15 minutes to reach Gale beach, which is considered a convenient and least crowded beach spot in the Albufeira area. From the Faro airport, this villa waits 45 minutes away.

This is not a hotel stay; the hotel will not be calling to remind you to order room service. No lunch buffet on the nights when you are tired and could just use food in bed. No scary view of a smutty gated pool. Instead, spaciousness, private living, and an ability to take their holiday at their own speed are offered-ideal for families and keeping extended teams that are searching for a real home base in the Algarve rather than just a hotel-type room.

Inside Villa Flor; rooms, layout and facilities

The villa is single storey with an open plan living room connecting to the kitchen and dining area. This makes it well suited to groups looking fun in a shared space. The kitchen has a more-than-adequate level of equipment at its disposal with washing machine, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, kettle and toaster-all available. There is also crockery, with easy set-up cooking for meals off your list. For an even better grocery convenience, some good supermarkets are conveniently located in villa vicinity and Albufeira.

There are four bedrooms – some doubles, some twins – and three bathrooms serve the group; with one en-suite and two others to share between. The décor is clean and unfussy with tiled floors, whitewashed walls and simple furniture. The villa’s interior keeps things light and cool. The air conditioning is available all over this excellent site. Lovely linen, towels, and sheets can be arranged.

Private pool and garden:

Children will enjoy the pool, for the grown-ups there’s serious sunbathing with parasols and beds. There is an outside eating and sitting area, where the shaded garden offers meals or evenings outside.

Hill settles to the south, and the sea horizon is not just beautiful view; there are indeed days I could see it from the bedroom! Due to the frequently glorious weather, it makes sense for the terrace to have its little play on the sunny side. May is when the pool into a comfortable temperature is received, and it will stay gently warm until October.

Location – Guia, Galé, and Albufeira

Guia is a tiny village that is mostly known for its tasty restaurants. A point worth highlighting as lots of tourists flocki into the area. The village enjoys a more relaxed pace compared to the Albufeira party strip. This is a perfect escape for holidaymakers, looking for away-from-it-all peace of mind despite being so very close to everything else.

The beach can be found about 7 km away from the villa – roughly a 15-minute drive. The Beach is a wide blue-flaged, with calm waters, making it a good option for families. Albufeira’s Old Town and marina is around 8 km away, so worth a visit. The marina is where you will find most of the tourist restaurants, bars and water sports operators. Faro International Airport is 45 km to the east, an airport transfer will be around 40 and 55 minutes, depending on the traffic situation.

Booking with Villa Flor – Package or Independent?

One must seek to book Villa Flor in a packaged holiday arrangement wherein flights from the UK or Ireland are included with the accommodation, or independently, with the booking of a holiday villa and the flights being made separately.
